Hey everyone! My name is Grant McLane and this September I will be going on the World Race. The World Race is a nine month mission trip where my team and I will travel to 3 different continents to spread the love and hope of Jesus.  After training at the Adventures in Missions base in Gainesville, Georgia my team and I will spend time in Eswatini, Thailand, and Costa Rica.  We will be doing children’s ministry, community outreach, manual labor, and other forms of ministry.

I first learned about the World Race last September, and after several months of prayer and discussion with my family, I committed to go on the race in January.  I chose the race because I know that it is where my talents and gifts can best be used to glorify God and help further his Kingdom. 

Now for some more information about me, I attend church at Trinity Christian Center in Lawerenceburg, IN. I have the best church family, and I get to serve as a referee and coach for upwards basketball, a youth leader for middle school youth group, and in the sound booth during church service. I am very blessed and thankful to be apart of this body of believers who are committed to bringing Jesus to our community.  In my free time I like to spend time with my family and friends.  I enjoy playing sports, reading a good book, and watching a funny movie. 

In the months leading up to my trip I will continue blogging here.
